Well, after a rocky start involving having to rush and get a Mississippi drivers license we made it to our flight in time.
This small plane flight involved having to fly backwards away from Vegas to Atlanta where after a 40 minute layover we switched to a larger plane and flew on to Vegas. It was a long flight after a hectic morning and we were bushed when we arrived.
However, a wonderful surprise was waiting for us at the hotel. When we arrived we found none other than Tresa (EvilQueen) waiting for us. After a quick hug and introductions to John, she gave me a claim ticket along with $2. We were then informed that after we were in our room we were to call the bellhop, give him the claim number on the ticket and the $2 was his tip. That woman thought of everything!!
We did as instructed and were amazed when the delivery was made. There was an ice chest filled with goodies - chips, chocolates, trail mix, biscotti, cheese, crackers, a bottle of champagne, 2 bottles of wine as well as a straw purse filled with more food items, summer sausages, Italian sausage, sweets, a card from 12 of the most awesome ladies I'm privileged enough to call friends, coffee, coffee filters, 2 Vegas coffee cups and 2 champagne flutes. As if this wasn't enough... Tresa also included 2 sets of the marriage license applications! Oh.. and there's also John's favorite... a programmable coffee maker!! Seems Vegas hotels don't supply these.
I just can not say enough about these wonderful women and how much they touched my heart. You gals made a special day even more so.
After the excitement of unloading and looking at everything we unpacked and then pretty much dove into the goodies and then passed out! Of course, not until after I had taken plenty of pictures to show what these angels did!
